Rockford, MN — Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) recently hosted ice cream
trucks at four local daycares on September 15, 17 and 18 to support the community in lieu of other
cancelled community events throughout the summer.

Sugar Mama’s ice cream truck visited Kid’s Haven in Buffalo, Creative Kids Academy in Maple
Grove, Step by Step Montessori in Corcoran and Sunshine Station in Rockford the week of September 14.
They provided treats to the children and staff courtesy of WH. With county fairs and parades being
canceled this summer, opportunities for WH to be involved with the local community were limited.
Giving daycares ice cream was one way WH could connect with members this year. Along with their
choice of ice cream, the children also received a yellow WH hardhat.

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric
utility that provides power to rural Wright County and western Hennepin County. The cooperative has
been a corporate citizen to the area since 1937 and currently serves more than 50,000 electric accounts. It
is headquartered in Rockford, Minn.
